Dimensions Iveco Daily
The Daily is not supplied by the factory with L/H codes but with a wheelbase (3000, 3520 or 4100 mm), an optional extended rear overhang (designated 3520L/4100L) and a roof height of H1, H2 or H3; in the trade those nine combinations are usually called L1H1 through to L5H3, with load volumes from 7.3 to 19.6 m3. The number in the type designation is the gross vehicle weight (35 = 3.5 t, 50 = 5.2 t, 70 = 7.2 t) and the letter after it indicates the wheels: S is single rear wheels, C is twin rear wheels with a heavier chassis. For a panel van you therefore first choose the volume (length plus roof height) and then the weight class; if you want more than approximately 1,500 kg of payload you need a 50C or 70C. The chassis cab has seven wheelbases (3000 to 5100 mm) for body lengths of over 6.1 metres; the electric eDaily uses the same bodies and dimensions.

More about the Daily
Frequently asked questions about the dimensions
What do L1, L2, H1 and H2 mean?
L stands for the length (wheelbase and overhang), H for the roof height. The higher the number, the longer or higher the van. From H2 upwards you can stand upright in the load area on most models.
How many Euro pallets fit inside?
A Euro pallet measures 120 × 80 cm. What counts is the width between the wheel arches (at least 120 cm for two pallets side by side lengthways) and the load length. The "Euro pallets" column gives the number that fits flat on the floor.
Can I drive this van on a category B licence?
Yes, as long as the gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3,500 kg. Versions up to 3,500 kg are listed in the "Max. weight" column; heavier versions (5,000 kg, for example) require a C1 licence.
Are these dimensions correct for every vehicle?
These are manufacturer figures per version. Bodies (box body, refrigerated body, tail lift), roof racks and changes from year to year can differ. During a viewing in Mijdrecht we will measure the dimension that matters to you on the spot.
