A test drive with several occupants gives the best impression of ride comfort and handling under full load.

Taxi van or passenger van: what's the difference?

The terms taxi van and passenger van are often used interchangeably, but there is a practical difference. A passenger van is a broader term for any vehicle set up for group transport, from family outings to staff transport. A taxi van is specifically used commercially for paid passenger transport and therefore often has to meet additional requirements, such as a taxi permit, a blue number plate and sometimes a wheelchair lift or extra safety features. If you're not yet sure which category your vehicle should fall into, consider how you'll use it: purely private or group transport calls for a regular passenger van, while paid transport of third parties calls for a taxi van that meets the legal requirements.
