Dimensions Renault Master
On the Renault Master the L stands for the length of the body (L1 to L4) and the H for the roof height (H1 low, H2 medium-high, H3 high). The third generation (2010-2024) is available as a front-wheel drive in L1H1 to L3H3 and as a rear-wheel drive in longer L3 and L4 versions with single or twin rear wheels; twin rear wheels cost load width between the wheel arches. Since 2024 the Master IV has only been available from L2 upwards, with L2H2, L3H2 and L3H3 as the core models (L4H3 outside the Netherlands). The most important choice is roof height: an H2 still will not fit in most car parks, but it does give standing height, whereas H3 mainly adds volume.

Frequently asked questions about the dimensions
What do L1, L2, H1 and H2 mean?
L stands for the length (wheelbase and overhang), H for the roof height. The higher the number, the longer or higher the van. From H2 upwards you can stand upright in the load area on most models.
How many Euro pallets fit inside?
A Euro pallet measures 120 × 80 cm. What counts is the width between the wheel arches (at least 120 cm for two pallets side by side lengthways) and the load length. The "Euro pallets" column gives the number that fits flat on the floor.
Can I drive this van on a category B licence?
Yes, as long as the gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3,500 kg. Versions up to 3,500 kg are listed in the "Max. weight" column; heavier versions (5,000 kg, for example) require a C1 licence.
Are these dimensions correct for every vehicle?
These are manufacturer figures per version. Bodies (box body, refrigerated body, tail lift), roof racks and changes from year to year can differ. During a viewing in Mijdrecht we will measure the dimension that matters to you on the spot.
