Dimensions Nissan Interstar
The Nissan NV400 (2011-2021) and the Interstar renamed from it (2021-2024) are technically identical to the Renault Master III; the sizes follow the codes L1 to L4 for length/wheelbase and H1 to H3 for roof height, with front-wheel drive (L1-L3) or rear-wheel drive with single or twin rear wheels (L3-L4). With rear-wheel drive the load floor is approximately 130 mm higher and the interior height is therefore lower; twin rear wheels reduce the width between the wheel arches to 1,080 mm. Since 2024 the Interstar has been based on the Renault Master IV with new wheelbases (3,585 and 4,215 mm) and, in the Netherlands, the L2H2, L3H2 and L3H3 bodies. Stated volumes differ slightly by source and model year (e.g. 10.3 or 10.8 m³ for the L2H2).

Frequently asked questions about the dimensions
What do L1, L2, H1 and H2 mean?
L stands for the length (wheelbase and overhang), H for the roof height. The higher the number, the longer or higher the van. From H2 upwards you can stand upright in the load area on most models.
How many Euro pallets fit inside?
A Euro pallet measures 120 × 80 cm. What counts is the width between the wheel arches (at least 120 cm for two pallets side by side lengthways) and the load length. The "Euro pallets" column gives the number that fits flat on the floor.
Can I drive this van on a category B licence?
Yes, as long as the gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3,500 kg. Versions up to 3,500 kg are listed in the "Max. weight" column; heavier versions (5,000 kg, for example) require a C1 licence.
Are these dimensions correct for every vehicle?
These are manufacturer figures per version. Bodies (box body, refrigerated body, tail lift), roof racks and changes from year to year can differ. During a viewing in Mijdrecht we will measure the dimension that matters to you on the spot.
