Dimensions Ford Transit Courier
The Transit Courier is Ford's smallest van and in both generations is supplied in one body style: a closed panel van with one wheelbase and a normal roof (L1H1), without an extended or raised version. The first generation (2014-2023) is derived from the Fiesta/B-Max and offers approximately 2.3 m³ (SAE) of load space; the second generation (from 2023/2024) is based on the Puma and is longer, wider and taller, with 2.91 m³ of load volume and 1,220 mm between the wheel arches. The payload differs by engine and weight variant; for the new generation Ford quotes a version with reinforced suspension offering up to approximately 840 kg gross payload. On both generations, longer items can be loaded through into the cab via a hatch in the bulkhead.

Frequently asked questions about the dimensions
What do L1, L2, H1 and H2 mean?
L stands for the length (wheelbase and overhang), H for the roof height. The higher the number, the longer or higher the van. From H2 upwards you can stand upright in the load area on most models.
How many Euro pallets fit inside?
A Euro pallet measures 120 × 80 cm. What counts is the width between the wheel arches (at least 120 cm for two pallets side by side lengthways) and the load length. The "Euro pallets" column gives the number that fits flat on the floor.
Can I drive this van on a category B licence?
Yes, as long as the gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3,500 kg. Versions up to 3,500 kg are listed in the "Max. weight" column; heavier versions (5,000 kg, for example) require a C1 licence.
Are these dimensions correct for every vehicle?
These are manufacturer figures per version. Bodies (box body, refrigerated body, tail lift), roof racks and changes from year to year can differ. During a viewing in Mijdrecht we will measure the dimension that matters to you on the spot.
