Dimensions Peugeot Expert
The third-generation Expert (from 2016, facelifted in 2024) has no roof height variants: there is only one roof (approximately 1.90 m high), so the vehicle fits in virtually every car park. The choice is therefore only about length: Compact (L1), Standard (L2) and Long (L3), with 4.6 - 5.3 - 6.1 m3 of load volume. Compact and Standard/Long also differ in wheelbase (2925 mm versus 3275 mm); the Long is simply a Standard with a longer rear overhang. With the load-through flap in the bulkhead (Moduwork) the load length grows by approximately 1160 mm and the volume by about 0.5 m3; the electric e-Expert has exactly the same load dimensions, but gives up some payload.

Frequently asked questions about the dimensions
What do L1, L2, H1 and H2 mean?
L stands for the length (wheelbase and overhang), H for the roof height. The higher the number, the longer or higher the van. From H2 upwards you can stand upright in the load area on most models.
How many Euro pallets fit inside?
A Euro pallet measures 120 × 80 cm. What counts is the width between the wheel arches (at least 120 cm for two pallets side by side lengthways) and the load length. The "Euro pallets" column gives the number that fits flat on the floor.
Can I drive this van on a category B licence?
Yes, as long as the gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3,500 kg. Versions up to 3,500 kg are listed in the "Max. weight" column; heavier versions (5,000 kg, for example) require a C1 licence.
Are these dimensions correct for every vehicle?
These are manufacturer figures per version. Bodies (box body, refrigerated body, tail lift), roof racks and changes from year to year can differ. During a viewing in Mijdrecht we will measure the dimension that matters to you on the spot.
