Dimensions Opel Combo
The Opel Combo van is designated by a length code (L1 short, L2 long, on the Combo E also 'XL') and on the Combo D additionally by a roof height (H1 normal, H2 high roof). The Combo D (2011-2018) is technically related to the Fiat Doblo Cargo; the Combo E (from 2018, also electric as the Combo-e) shares the Stellantis K9 base with the Citroen Berlingo and Peugeot Partner, among others. On the Combo E the stated load length depends on the measuring point: approximately 1,781/2,131 mm at floor level against the bulkhead, up to 1,817/2,167 mm maximum, and with a load-through hatch in the bulkhead up to 3,090/3,440 mm. The load volume therefore runs from 3.3/3.9 m3 to 3.8/4.4 m3; load height in this file is the interior height of the load area.

Frequently asked questions about the dimensions
What do L1, L2, H1 and H2 mean?
L stands for the length (wheelbase and overhang), H for the roof height. The higher the number, the longer or higher the van. From H2 upwards you can stand upright in the load area on most models.
How many Euro pallets fit inside?
A Euro pallet measures 120 × 80 cm. What counts is the width between the wheel arches (at least 120 cm for two pallets side by side lengthways) and the load length. The "Euro pallets" column gives the number that fits flat on the floor.
Can I drive this van on a category B licence?
Yes, as long as the gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3,500 kg. Versions up to 3,500 kg are listed in the "Max. weight" column; heavier versions (5,000 kg, for example) require a C1 licence.
Are these dimensions correct for every vehicle?
These are manufacturer figures per version. Bodies (box body, refrigerated body, tail lift), roof racks and changes from year to year can differ. During a viewing in Mijdrecht we will measure the dimension that matters to you on the spot.
