Dimensions Fiat Scudo
The Fiat Scudo from 2022 onwards is technically identical to the Peugeot Expert, Citroen Jumpy, Opel Vivaro and Toyota Proace and comes in three lengths: Compact (L1), Standard (L2) and Long (L3). There is only one roof height, so every version stays below approximately 1.95 m and fits in most car parks; the length is therefore practically the only choice. The Compact has the same load width but a shorter wheelbase, while Standard and Long share the 3,275 mm wheelbase and differ only in rear overhang. The older Scudo (2007-2016) used a different scheme with two wheelbases and a high roof: L1H1, L2H1 and L2H2 with approximately 5, 6 and 7 m3 respectively.

| Trim | Wheelbase | Length | Width | Height | Load length | Load width | Between wheel arches | Load height | Load volume | Euro pallets | Max. weight | Payload |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| L1H1L1H1 Compact - short wheelbase, standard roofThe load volume increases to approximately 5.1 m3 with the load-through hatch in the bulkhead and a folding passenger seat; the load length is then approximately 3,324 mm. | 293 cm | 461 cm | 192 cm | 191 cm | 216 cm | 163 cm | 126 cm | 140 cm | 4,6 m³ | 2 | 2800 – 3100 kg | 1000 – 1400 kg |
| L2H1L2H1 Standard - standard length, standard roofWith the load-through hatch 5.8 m3 and approximately 3,674 mm of load length. On some versions the exterior length is quoted as 4,959 mm. | 328 cm | 496 cm | 192 cm | 193 cm | 251 cm | 163 cm | 126 cm | 140 cm | 5,3 m³ | 3 | 2830 – 3100 kg | 1121 – 1384 kg |
| L3H1L3H1 Long - long rear overhang, standard roofWith the load-through hatch 6.6 m3 and approximately 4,024 mm of load length. The exterior length is also quoted as 5,309/5,331 mm. | 328 cm | 531 cm | 192 cm | 194 cm | 286 cm | 163 cm | 126 cm | 140 cm | 6,1 m³ | 3 | 2830 – 3100 kg | 1121 – 1335 kg |
| L2 DCL2 double cab - standard length, 5 seatsLoad volume and load length from the British specification; the number of Euro pallets is derived from the load length. | 328 cm | 496 cm | 192 cm | 193 cm | 202 cm | 163 cm | 126 cm | 140 cm | 3,2 m³ | 2 | 2830 – 3100 kg | 1000 – 1185 kg |

| e-Scudo L2electric, standard lengthThe battery sits under the floor, so load dimensions and load volume are the same as the diesel; payload is lower with the 75 kWh battery. | 328 cm | 496 cm | 192 cm | 193 cm | 251 cm | 163 cm | 126 cm | 140 cm | 5,3 m³ | 3 | 3011 – 3100 kg | 915 – 1263 kg |
| e-Scudo L3electric, long versionThe same load area as the diesel L3; payload depends on battery capacity (50 or 75 kWh). | 328 cm | 531 cm | 192 cm | 194 cm | 286 cm | 163 cm | 126 cm | 140 cm | 6,1 m³ | 3 | 3044 – 3100 kg | 915 – 1242 kg |

| L1H1short wheelbase, normal roofThe width between the wheel arches of 1,245 mm comes from the technically identical Peugeot Expert II and has not been confirmed in a Fiat source. | 300 cm | 481 cm | 190 cm | 194 cm | 225 cm | 160 cm | 125 cm | 145 cm | 5,0 m³ | 2 | 2800 – 3000 kg | 1000 – 1200 kg |
| L2H1long wheelbase, normal roofSources quote the load length as either 2,558 or 2,584 mm; the factory figure of 2,584 mm has been used here. | 312 cm | 514 cm | 190 cm | 194 cm | 258 cm | 160 cm | 125 cm | 145 cm | 6,0 m³ | 3 | 2800 – 3000 kg | 1100 – 1200 kg |
| L2H2long wheelbase, high roofThe exterior height of 2,276 mm comes from the identical Peugeot Expert II; one French source quotes a deviating 2,004 mm, which is almost certainly incorrect. | 312 cm | 514 cm | 190 cm | 228 cm | 258 cm | 160 cm | 125 cm | 175 cm | 7,0 m³ | 3 | 2900 – 3000 kg | 1100 – 1200 kg |

Frequently asked questions about the dimensions
What do L1, L2, H1 and H2 mean?
L stands for the length (wheelbase and overhang), H for the roof height. The higher the number, the longer or higher the van. From H2 upwards you can stand upright in the load area on most models.
How many Euro pallets fit inside?
A Euro pallet measures 120 × 80 cm. What counts is the width between the wheel arches (at least 120 cm for two pallets side by side lengthways) and the load length. The "Euro pallets" column gives the number that fits flat on the floor.
Can I drive this van on a category B licence?
Yes, as long as the gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3,500 kg. Versions up to 3,500 kg are listed in the "Max. weight" column; heavier versions (5,000 kg, for example) require a C1 licence.
Are these dimensions correct for every vehicle?
These are manufacturer figures per version. Bodies (box body, refrigerated body, tail lift), roof racks and changes from year to year can differ. During a viewing in Mijdrecht we will measure the dimension that matters to you on the spot.
