Dimensions Dodge Ram 1500
The fifth-generation Ram 1500 (DT, from 2019) has no L/H codes but a combination of cab shape and load bed length. The Quad Cab has four short doors and comes from the factory exclusively with the 6'4" bed (1,937 mm of floor length); the Crew Cab has larger rear doors and is available with the short 5'7" bed (1,711 mm) or the same 6'4" bed. The load bed is equally wide on every version: 1,687 mm on the outside and 1,295 mm between the wheel arches. The choice is therefore mainly about rear seat space versus load bed length: anyone wanting both ends up with the Crew Cab with the 6'4" bed and accepts an exterior length of over six metres.

The single cab has two seats and the longest load bed; the extra (super/king) cab has a small rear bench with short doors; the double cab offers four full doors and five seats, with the shortest load bed.
