The dimensions at a glance

Of the Fiat Doblò there are 6 versions, load length 182 cm to 217 cm, load volume 3,3 m³ to 5,0 m³. The full dimensions table by version, with wheelbase, exterior dimensions, width between the wheel arches and Euro pallets, is on the dimensions page.

What the Doblò is known for

  • Payload up to approximately 1,000 kg, depending on length and version
  • Two lengths (L1 and Maxi/L2); on the Doblò II also a high roof with approximately 5 m³ of load space (Maxi XL)
  • Doblò II with independent rear suspension (Bi-Link), unusual in this class
  • Doblò III technically identical to the Citroën Berlingo, Peugeot Partner, Opel Combo and Toyota Proace City, so parts are widely available
  • Choice of petrol, diesel and fully electric (E-Doblò) on the same platform; Doblò II also as a natural gas version (Natural Power)

What to look out for on a used example

  • On the 1.3 MultiJet, check the maintenance history and listen for timing chain rattle on a cold start; problems mainly occur between around 150,000 and 200,000 km.
  • On MultiJet and BlueHDi diesels that have made many short trips, check whether particulate filter or EGR valve faults are stored in the fault memory; on BlueHDi also check the AdBlue system.
  • On the 1.2 PureTech petrol engine (Doblò III), check whether the timing belt has been inspected or replaced in line with the prescribed interval and ask for invoices.
  • On an E-Doblò, ask for a battery health reading (SoH) and check whether the 8-year or 160,000 km factory warranty on the battery pack is still running.

These points apply to the model in general. What applies to a specific vehicle depends on its maintenance history; we discuss this for every vehicle we sell.

Compare the Doblò with another model

Only models of the same size, so the comparison is fair.
